Haris Celik earned his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2010. Between 2009 and 2010, he was a Visiting Graduate Research Assistant at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, USA, as part of his Master thesis. From 2010 to 2014, he worked as an Electronics Engineer at Ericsson in Kista, Sweden, before joining as a PhD student.
His research interests include radio resource management and optimization of wireless access networks in ultra-dense deployment. He has been involved in the EU FP7 project METIS and continues to be an active participant in the EU Horizon 2020 project METIS-II, whose objective is to lay the foundation for 5G, the next generation of mobile and wireless communication.
