Kristina Höök


Professor in Interaction Design at KTH School of Computer Science and Communication


Kristina Höök (b. 1964) is a professor in interaction design at KTH (The Royal Institute of Technology). Höök has published more than 100 journal papers, books and book chapters, and conference papers in highly renowned venues. A frequent keynote speaker, she is known for her work on social navigation, seamfulness, mobile services, affective interaction and lately, designing for bodily engagement in interaction through somaesthetics. Her competence lies mainly in interaction design and user studies helping to form design.  Höök started and currently leads the Mobile Life centre that engages ~45 researchers.
