Linda Doyle is the Director of CONNECT [hyperlink to http://www.connectcentre.ie] and Professor of Engineering & The Arts at Trinity College, University of Dublin [hyperlink to: https://www.tcd.ie]. CONNECT is the Science Foundation Ireland [hyperlink to http://www.sfi.ie] research centre for future networks and communications. Prof Doyle is also Director of CTVR, the precursor to CONNECT.  Her expertise is in the fields of wireless communications, cognitive radio, reconfigurable networks, spectrum management and creative arts practices. She has raised over €70 million in research funding over the past decade and has published widely in her field. A fellow of Trinity College, Prof. Doyle has a strong reputation as an advocate for change in spectrum management practices and is a key player in spectrum policy at  national and international level. She is currently a member of Ireland’s National Broadband Plan Steering Group and is a member of the Ofcom Spectrum Advisory Board in the UK.

Prof. Doyle is a Director of Xcelerit and SRS, two CTVR/CONNECT spin-out companies.
