Call for Seed Projects 2017!

KTH (and associated) researchers are invited to submit proposals for research projects within the scope of the Wireless@KTH. Project proposals should be relevant to field of wireless systems and application in the widest sense as described in the center

Research Strategy

Of particular interests are at this point project proposals addressing issues related to wireless aspects of large scale cyber-physical system, the “internet of things” and the “internet of control” discussed in the strategy document. “Seed projects” are projects that aim to probe new research areas and industry collaboration that have the potential to lead to partnership and/or future, larger projects in collaboration with KTH. As in previous calls, the “seed project” is seen as an important instruments to attract new industry partners. Project proposals may involve existing or new, potential partner organizations. Proposals will be judged on the basis of the

  • level of innovation and match with the objectives of the research strategy
  • potential to spawn new Wireless@KTH projects (incl EU projects),
  • active participation of (new) partners,
  • scientific excellence of the proposal and the proposers.

In the first call in 2017, funding is envisaged for 2-3 projects. Wireless@KTH contributions not exceeding 500 KSEK for each project are envisaged.
