Since its beginning almost 100 years ago, the Aviation industry has relied on wireless systems for navigation, communication and surveillance. The aviation industry is conservative but also need the latest technology, which is a difficult challenge. An airport also holds a variety of wireless systems, all of which must work together. Come and listen about the challenges of operating major airports and air traffic control centres!

Pär Weilow from Norrsetter AB is a senior expert in wireless communication and represents more than 30 years of experience with critical communication systems.

Pär’s speciality is the wireless environment at airports, especially ground radio communication based on the Tetra technology, with 7 years of experience from working at Stockholm Arlanda airport.
