About the seminar:

In Sweden there is already a road map for the spectrum availability for mobile and mobile broadband up until 2020.

Starting from the current situation in Sweden this presentation will take you to 2020 and beyond describing which of the current available frequency bands are in practice unused and which new frequency bands is expected to be made available.

Issues that will be touched upon in the presentation are, is there room for more license exempt usage in the harmonized mobile frequency bands, can we see a spectrum shortage coming in Sweden, are there frequency bands that are of special interest going forward.

Jan Boström holds a position as Technical Expert Advice at the spectrum department of the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS). As a member of the section for spectrum analysis he mainly works with forward looking analysis of spectrum needs based on technology and market developments and forecasts.
