This talk will present the concept of “Telia Wifi” (previously Telia Homerun) and the reasons behind Telia’s renewed interest for wifi services. It will furthermore discuss the relation between 4G and 5G vs WiFi and present some practical perspective on

    • Radar detection DFS
    • WiFi Hardware benefits and limits
    • Experience from high-density events

 Tore Björklund, Telia Company

Tore Björklund is System Specialist for Telia Wifi (HomeRun), Telia Company’s acclaimed Public WLAN service. Tore has been responsible for defining the network’s architecture and technical requirements since 2000. Working with WiFi since 1996 and taking part in standardisation bodies like WiFi Alliance and Wireless Broadband Alliance. Tore has 37 years’ experience with Telia Company and has been working with design and development of IP/WiFi networks.
